Based on an instrument made by Giorgio Sellas in 1627, which may be seen in the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford. The back is made of alternate ribs of mahogany and maple with fillets of ebony. The soundboard is from Canadian spruce with inlays of mother of pearl and Abalone shell. Complete with high quality locking hard case.
