Flemish Virginal after Couchet 1650 by Whale & Martin. Made in 1992 for the Early Music Exhibition held at the The Royal Horticultural (Old) Hall. Although now a number of years old, it is still in almost as new/unmarked condition and is a real credit to the maker. Grey marbled poplar and limewood case, with interior  decorated with original printed paper and inscribed on underside of lid and fall. Decorated soundboard with hand painted floral designs and with solid oak stand. Dimensions 67.5” long x 35.5” high x 20” deep.
