Organs

Description

Price

2113 S Brand new Practice Organ by Kenneth Jones - Suitable for home or teaching Institutions. Designed by Kenneth Jones and associates to fit into a small music facility, room or studio. It takes up no more than the space of an upright piano, except for the detachable pedalboard. It has full pedal up to F and two manuals. Each manual and the pedal has one 8ft stop, so the organ has three 8ft stops of different character. The lowest octave is shared between the three, yet they're mechanically independent. There are no couplers. The top lid is adjustable to allow differentiation of volume and the front panel can be opened for tuning or if a much louder sound is required. Includes adjustable stool. The design of the organ is exceptional, given the space it takes and received many admirers and praise. The stops are different in character and the lower manual offers a slightly more powerful intonation in the treble to allow 'solo' play. Playing a trio sonata you will hear the independent voices very well. The overall sound is pleasant and soft; this means it doesn't tire the ear nor the other inhabitants of the home. The absence of a 16 ft. in the pedal is generally no problem. In the lower register dense chords may sound less clear due to the absence of 4 or 2 ft. stops. With a little creativity, most literature can be practiced on the instrument. The Kenneth Jones custom designed pedalboard is very comfortable and prepares for playing on concave as well as straight pedal boards. Students appreciate the 'clean' touch and the pleasant sound of the organ. The organ responds to accurate articulation and phrasing. Case dimensions: Height: 222cm Width =case 166cm & 35cm for blower box on bottom right side: Depth: 45cm. Please note this instrument is new. The photograph is for illustration purposes only.
Current with owner in Co. Wicklow, Ireland.
