If you are a regular visitor to our Used Instrument
Agency, you may need to refresh your browser and empty your cache in order
to view our latest update.
For over 30 years The Early Music Shop has operated a brokerage system of second
hand instruments of every category – early keyboards, strings, woodwind
and recorders etc.
The listing is mailed to our vast database and is reproduced here in full on
our web site.
Our web site. is updated weekly and is the speediest and most dependable method
of disposing of an unwanted instrument. The funds from which maybe used perhaps
towards a new instrument or simply reimbursed.
One attraction of the scheme is that we act as brokers only for the seller and
so no form of taxation is added to the sale price, only on the commission you
pay, which gives the instrument added value.
To offer an instrument for sale simply contact either our Saltaire branch or
our London branch and speak to a member of staff who will send out the authorisation
form for you to complete and return it with your instrument to either branch.
Once your instrument has been seen you will be contacted with a realistic assessment
of its worth. (You of course may determine the price at which it is offered.)
The growing demand in enquiries to The Early Music Shop for second hand instruments
means that our reputation in this field is very good.
