Arc en Ciel is a duet for one recorder player and one flautist using various instruments. The recorder player needs a sopranino, descant, bass and contrabass recorders as well as 4 differently tuned Chinese blocks and 3 diferently tuned small cymbals or triangles. The flautist requires a flute, alto flute, piccolo, bass flute and 2 Chinese bamboo flutes in D and in A-flat.
