Viola, Tenor. Curious viola in D, based after contraltos of Vuillaume, by Schrami of Wallern, c1897. Maple body, spruce top, corpus 41.3 cm, string length: 37.5 cm. Recently overhauled and repaired by Colin Nicholls with new neck, pearwood fingerboard & tailpiece, boxwood pegs, bridge and post.
