Wenner Grenser flute a=440 in European boxwood. A copy of a flute by August Grenser around 1790 which can be found in a private collection in North Germany. The original was made of ebony and has four interchangeable pieces at the pitches of a=440 Hz to a=420 Hz. The tonal character is brighter and richer in overtones than earlier baroque flutes.
