Daltont Eichentopf oboe a=415. Conservatory, Lisbon c 1730. This oboe is copied from one of the two surviving oboes by this famous Leipzig maker. It is likely that Eichentopf's instruments were used in the original performances of J.S. Bach’s Leipzig cantatas. With 2 keys, 3rd & 4th holes doubled.
Sand Dalton has made an extensive study of historical oboes and is regarded as one of the leading baroque oboists in America. His instruments are amongst the finest available and are highly recommended.
