Hanchet shawm mediaeval tenor 1 key. A keyed tenor (c-d’’) in maple with a two piece pirouette and a cane reed. This design is based on iconographical research and it features a smaller bore and bell than the renaissance instruments which in turn makes it a somewhat softer sounding instrument.
