EMS loriman pipe in f. The Loriman pipe is a Renaissance alto windcap instrument designed and produced in our own Early Music Shop Workshop. It is pitched in f, made from rosewood, and is available as both a finished instrument and a kit. It has a straight parallel bore and has a range and sound very similar to the crumhorn. It is a useful instrument for both folk and early music. Each instrument is tuned individually by our workshop technician and uses our unique plastic double reed - also made in our workshop.
