Moeck chalumeaux alto. The Chalumeau was a forerunner to the clarinet in having a single controlled reed. Reputedly invented by the Denner dynasty who perfected a clarinet for the classical orchestra, but more likely from an earlier background. Moeck produce an excellent alto chalumeaux in f at a=440.
