A treble viol after Henry Jaye of Southwark. This is a copy of an instrument in a private collection and dated 1629 with a string length of 37cm and with fairly large lower bouts. It has a very strong full sound. The ribs and back are in poplar, and it has boxwood pegs. The instrument is supplied with a padded carrying case.
