One of the most popular hurdy gurdies of the 16h century was the rustic or Henry III pattern, and the Morillo workshops produce an excellent copy of an original in the Gemeentmuseum, The Hague, with 6 strings. Fully chromatic pver 1 1/2 octaves it is tuned chanterelles g', mouche in g, trompette in c', petit bourdon in c and gross bourdon in G. Back made of cedar and the soundboard made of pine.
