A 3 string alto rebec by Waidler based after Virdung and tuned a d G. The body, carved from a single block of wood, is made from pear, sycamore or european walnut. The finger board and tailpiece use the same woods. Fine spuce is used for the top. The rebec is strung in gut and comes with a soft case.
