3ft portative organ. The EMS 3’ portative has a compass of three octaves F-ff and is essentially a table model. It has a compass large enough to provide continuo for a broken consort of any combination of early musical instruments. The new design has a reservoir and a separate feeder which can be operated either with the left hand or a piece of string attached to a foot pedal giving uninterrupted wind.
Disposition: F below middle C - f'' above (37 notes). Fully chromatic. Dimensions (without bellows): 84cm x 31cm x 130cm. Weight (with pipe work): 53kg.
