Overseas visitors should be aware that Greenwich is in South East London, just 5 miles from central London yet easily accessible by several means of public transport.

- By DLR: from Bank or Canary Wharf to Cutty Sark for Maritime Greenwich (please note Tower Gateway will be closed for the duration of this exhibition).
- By Connex: from Charing Cross Waterloo East, Cannon Street and London Bridge
- By River: from Westminster, Embankment and Tower Piers for Greenwich
- By road: from the M25 via the A2 or M11/A12 Blackwall Tunnel (limited car parking Park Row and Cutty Sark Gardens
